Due to the
varying complexities of buildings the services listed below
are priced on an individual basis. Please contact SCH Fire
Safety for a quote.
 Fire Safety Audit:
An inspection of the fire safety provision within the
premises together with any findings and recommendations
which will be notified in writing.
Fire Risk Assessment:
A full inspection of the building or premises
which will take note of the existing means of escape, the
structural condition and potential for fire spread, fire
resistance, compartmentation, fire suppression / warning
systems and people at risk. A risk assessment document will
be provided which will discuss the general fire safety
provision under separate headings in an easy to read format.
The need for changes and /or additions (if any) will be
highlighted on a Significant Findings/Action Plan.
Engineered Solutions:
In modern times, as buildings and processes have
become more complex, fire engineered solutions are being
called upon more and more. Consideration must be given to
the occupancy type and numbers, the fire hazards, the
building character, adequate means of raising the alarm and
escape, fire systems. By considering these factors we can
identify if adequate levels of fire safety are achievable by
following prescriptive local or European standards. If it is
found that it is not, a fire engineered solution in
achieving a satisfactory level of fire safety may be
required.
Fire Safety Advice:
Given to clients on individual fire safety issues
such as pre-planning fire safety provision for relocations,
extensions and refurbishments.
